Scorpius, the scorpion constellation. The constellation consists of 16 points, most notably its hook shaped stinger.
Scorpius pre-dates the Greeks, and is one of the oldest constellations known. The Sumerians called it GIR-TAB, or “the scorpion,” about 5,000 years ago.
Scorpius remains at the horizon of the night sky year-round, requiring an unobstructed view southward to see clearly.
